Stephanie Tajon, Registered Dental Hygienist
Stephanie says, “I couldn’t imagine working with anybody else other than Dr. Calleros. She truly is an exceptional dentist and person whose ethics, integrity, and dentistry are a reflection of this. She is my mentor and I look forward to the many years to come that we will work together to help our patients obtain healthy smiles.”
Stephanie Tajon has been working along side Dr. Calleros as her Registered Dental Hygienist for four years. She and Dr. Calleros have a great partnership and work well together to provide the highest standard of care to all patients.
Stephanie received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and later attended Dental Hygiene School at West Los Angeles College in Culver City. She is also a Laser Certified Dental Hygienist and an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Her love for dentistry started at a young age and it’s only fitting she has made a career out of it. She thoroughly enjoys being able to help her patients achieve total health by improving their oral health.
She takes a special interest in Laser Dentistry, taking advanced continuing education laser courses to stay abreast of current research and technology to ensure our patients are receiving the very best treatment available.
In the future, Stephanie would like to venture into dental consulting. She hopes to have her own consulting company in which she trains dental practices to grow and prosper through ethics and integrity.
Serving the community is important to her as well. She initiated a Habitat for Humanity day, in which the office and other volunteers were able to provide dental services to underserved families, who otherwise would not be able to afford regular dental treatment. She and the office also adopt families in need for the holidays. Stephanie has also participated in many charity fitness events raising money for cancer, childhood obesity, etc. She most recently volunteered with the rest of the Calleros Team at Maria Shriver's Modern House Call for Women in Long Beach. In December 2011 she spent the day providing free teeth cleanings for women and children from a local shelter at our office.
Outside of dentistry, Stephanie enjoys many fitness activities. You can find her on a long bike ride along the coast, hiking up a hillside, training for a triathlon or her next marathon. She loves the beach and the sun and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else but the South Bay!
Desirae Reddell, Registered Dental Hygienist
Desirae recently moved to Manhattan Beach from Bakersfield, CA, where she attended and graduated from the Taft College Dental Hygiene Program. She feels very fortunate to be working with Dr. Calleros and the rest of the team as she has been given a platform in which she can continue her education daily, allowing her to stay at the forefront of dentistry. She is also and active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
While in school she discovered a new passion for dentistry while working with mentally disabled patients. She fell in love with these patients as she helped them to transition into independent living. In the future she definitely wants to continue to help the mentally disabled and get involved with the Special Olympics as well. She is committed to providing charity dentistry and alongside Dr Calleros and Stephanie, took a day off in December 2011 to provide free teeth cleanings for abused women and children at our office.
Her best friend is her seven year old border collie/lab dog, Fred. She loves taking him on long walks and playing with him at the dog beach. Outiside of dentistry she also enjoys scrapbooking, cooking, camping, fishing, live sport events, especially tailgating at 49er games, and spending time with her family.
Soraya Gonzalez, Registered Dental Assistant
Soraya was born in El Salvador and came to the United States in 1985 at the age of nine. She spent her youth living in Glendale, Ca. After graduating from Glendale High School she took many different courses before destiny took her into the dental field. In 2001, she graduated from the Nova Institute as a Registered Dental Assistant. With over 11 years of dental assisting experience, she brings a lot of knowledge and most importantly great patient care. Making patients feel at ease is a cinch for Soraya, as she is a very warm person. She is very efficient, and together with Jennifer, keeps the back office spotless and organized.
Outside of the dental office, Soraya loves spending time with her family. She is a wife and a soccer mommy to her young son. You can also find her dancing the night away to the merengue or salsa.
Jennifer Price, DA
Jennifer is our newest team member. She was born and raised in Torrance, California. She graduated from West High School. After having three children, including a set of twins, she decided to use her natural care-giving instincts and abilities and pursued a career in dentistry. She graduated from Bryman College in 2000 and has 12 years of experience. She loves continuing her dental education and has taken many Cerec seminars to improve her skills and knowledge.
Patients feel more at ease when Jennifer is at their side, with her warm demeanor and cheerful laugh. Jennifer and Soraya keep the back office flowing smoothly and organized so patients can enjoy a relaxing visit.
When not in the office, Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, movies, and spending time with her children.

Melissa Berg, Financial Coordinator
Melissa was handpicked by Dr. Calleros to head the front office and has been an amazing addition to our team. She is in charge of coordinating all financial arrangements with our patients. Having received a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications from California State University San Bernardino, Melissa is well versed in patient relations. She is dedicated to making each and every dental visit a positive one. Her diligence in providing accurate and timely information is one of a kind. Melissa is always willing to help with a smile.
Growing up in the Inland Empire, Melissa is enjoying living on the Westside of Los Angeles, where she is able to enjoy the breezy weather. She lives with her sister, whom she is very close with. Away from the dental office you could find her reading a Harry Potter book or enjoying a good movie. Oh, and she loves the Los Angeles Kings and hopes to be attending a lot more of their games.
Veronica Morris, Appointment Coordinator
Veronica Morris is a Cali girl born and raised. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, it's only fitting she attended California State University Northridge, where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. After graduating she moved over the hill into the heart of Los Angeles to see where life would take her. Her cheerful smile and great personality landed her here at Calleros Dental, where she will be in the front office warmly greeting all of our patients and coordinating appointments.
Her pride and joy lies with her two younger brothers and maintaining a strong relationship with her family. She enjoys eating good food and then sleeping away the calories, watching TV, anything Disney, and last but not least cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers to another championship.
